Check It Out At The Library
When I walk into the library, I truly am at home. I have spent so much of my life in the library, it just seemed right to do my co-op there! My co-op was split between two libraries; The Wornstaff Memorial Library and The Delaware County District Library. While working in both places, I was fortunate enough to work with extraordinary staff members. Everyone was so helpful and knowledgeable. Each person helped me learn their area of expertise. Some may think that working in a library is boring, but it is not. Something new happens every day. I got to meet and help new people every day. I have come to know “the regulars” as well. I get so excited knowing that I’m in one of the most information-packed places that is free to all! Librarians know where to find information on everything. The Delaware County District Library was a new experience for me. It is a large library and I was not very familiar with it. Everyone there made me feel so comfortable. I am now able to navigate myself and others around the building. The Wornstaff Memorial Library is my “home library.” The librarians have all watched me grow up. They have become a part of my family and have supported me over the past 15 years. I feel so privileged to work with so many cool people in such cool places. The library- check it out!
